Flexi Days
One of our key staff benefits at AEP are our ‘Flexi' Days which are available to all full-time employees. Staff are able to take one day per month off between February-November (an additional 10 days leave per year). The purpose of these days is to assist staff with life in general, from having a long weekend, doing some life admin, and catching up with friends, to tacking on to some annual leave to extend your trip, attending extra-curricular activities or simply, anything the employee needs a day for.
​We believe that if your life outside of work is going and operating well it's easier for your life at work to be too. We value our employees at AEP and their livelihoods.

Employee Assistance Program
In 2025, AEP implemented an Employee Assistance Program. Our staff are able to access remote counselling sessions both inside and outside business hours, to allow flexibility for our remote and office workers. Sessions are free of charge and are to support our employees in their mental health.

Working away from home allowance
The nature of the work we conduct means there will be occasions when our staff will work away from home for days at a time. We offer a generous daily working away allowance to acknowledge the additional costs associated and incentivise for this type of work.

Employee Referral Bonus
AEP knows that attracting and retaining top talent is key to our continued success - and who better to help us find the right people than our own team!

​That’s why we offer an employee referral bonus to recognise and reward staff who refer strong candidates to join our crew. In an industry like ours, where the work is specialised and the hours can be demanding, the best talent is often found through trusted networks. We offer our staff that refer successful candidates a bonus payment team as a ‘thank you!’ for connecting us with great people.
