
Meet Darcy
Darcy Kilvert is a Senior Ecologist and the founding Manager of AEP’s Sydney office, launched in 2023. He leads a thriving team of ecologists and botanists, overseeing complex environmental projects that span across local developments to State Significant infrastructure. His hands-on leadership fosters collaboration, technical excellence, and client-focused delivery - ensuring that every project benefits from the collective expertise of his team.

Beginning his career in Natural Resource Management in 2015, Darcy brings deep capability in botany, ecological reporting, project management, and GIS. His knowledge of environmental legislation and the Biodiversity Assessment Method enables him to guide projects through intricate regulatory pathways with clarity and precision.

Darcy is particularly passionate about classifying ecological communities across the Greater Sydney Region, contributing to conservation efforts that protect biodiversity and support sustainable land use. Known for his approachable style and solutions-driven mindset, he combines technical rigour with pragmatic leadership to deliver meaningful environmental outcomes.

Outside work, Darcy enjoys reconnecting with his extended family in Papua New Guinea - where his conversational Tok Pisin is still a work in progress.
